Yesterday I drove past a woman who was holding a sign that said "Begging mom needs food for her 3 kids". Now I know her sign may be untrue and she was just looking for some sympathy but it made me start to think. If I was not so lucky to have a job and for my husband to have a job that allows for us to provide for our family, what would I do? Now I am a known hussler (haha)...always have a job, if not one, then two. I have just been that lucky but not everyone has such luck. Not everyone has a college degree, masters degree, sewing machine to make tutus, etc.
My main point is I guess I would do whatever to provide for my family...at least within my moral standards. Flipping burgers, cleaning houses, walking dogs...WHATEVER!!
Recently, I have caught myself getting all stressed and frazzled about my life but when I see some other people's situations, I quickly realize my life is not that bad. I have MORE than enough - an amazing family, great friends, a job, a great husband and a wonderful daughter.
What more does a girl need????
Don't forget to stop and think about how lucky you are! Maybe you work late one night (or 5 nights) but at least you have a job. Maybe you cannot afford that new pair of shoes, but there is food on the table. Maybe you got no sleep cause your daughter is teething, but at least you have a healthy daughter, a roof over our heads and beds to sleep on (well eventually sleep on).
I love my life...the good times and the bad!
