I am SOOO excited for today's featured vendor Hot Mama Gowns!! They design hospital maternity gowns that are 100% organic. Until I was pregnant, I never thought of how dingy those hospital gowns can be. Hot Mama Gowns introduce some color and awesome patterns that make people feel better about themselves while in the hospital. Also, you could always wear the gowns when you come home to stay comfortable. And to make this company even more exciting, they were even on the show Shark Tank. *What does Hot Mama Gowns entail?

Hot Mama Gowns are the 1^st and only hospital maternity gowns (also known as delivery gowns) made of 100% Organic Cotton, sized to fit Mom before/during and after birth and also DESIGNED for breastfeeding! They allow Mom to be celebrated on this joyous day! They are made of 100% Organic Cotton, sized (six available sizes XS-XXL) to fit just about every shape Mommy and bump. Designed for breastfeeding; there are two individual panels which allow Mom quick, easy and discreet access to her breasts while remaining completely covered! While Mom is nursing, her other side is completely covered (something not found with generic hospital gowns; with generic hospital gowns you have to completely remove your arm from the gowns to gain access, all while exposing your entire post-partum belly and breasts to a room full of people!)

With Hot Mama Gowns Mom can wear her gown for labor, delivery and then for months afterwards as cute nursing pajamas. They also boast a full snap-down back to keep Mom’s “ass”ets covered while she’s walking the Labor and Delivery floor!

*What advice can you give to other female entrepreneurs?

The best advice I can offer is be yourself at every stage of the game. Don’t worry about being what others “expect” you to be, or accomplishing goals the “right” way, I always say “Do You”. Being authentic and transparent is so important to your brand and network. No matter what your personality style, no matter what your strengths, and no matter what your quirks are; people still want to see and know YOU! YOU are such a big part of your brand, company, services, etc. Your brand/company will be so much more and have so much more success when you start being true to yourself and letting others see the YOU behind the brand/business! Just my dollar and two cents!

*What are three things people don't know about you or your company?

This one is a little challenging because I like to be transparent about Hot Mama Gowns and the goings on here! Let me think… We’ve added hand-knit “Lil Monkey Hats” to our website. They are the perfect add-on to any HMG order because it’s something for the baby, a necessity to keep the baby warm and MUCH better than the stand issue they plop on the baby’s head at the hospital. Well, those hats have hang tags attached, tied with a ribbon; a perfect, little dainty ribbon. Those are lovingly tied by my 5 year old daughter and she takes SO much pleasure in helping Mommy and seeing her perfect bows! The second unknown about HMG is I buy everything in bulk; I have on hand thousands of yards of fabric, well over a thousand custom HMG boxes, and the list goes on!! And a huge perk is I always have fabric on hand for my sister to sew pretty dresses, make handbags, diaper covers and whatever her creative heart desires! And my daughter LOVES when Aunt LeAnn makes her something! And lastly, something people don’t know about me or that might surprise them; I am SO low maintenance! I rarely wear makeup, I don’t own a blow dryer (and have you SEEN how much hair I have!! LOL) and I don’t own any hair product (nothing...zip...really, nothing!) And now that you’re done reading this you’re thinking I’m a total slob!! But, I’m just “Doing Me”!
